Today marked a day of celebration throughout the United States as the Supreme Court ruled against Prop 8 in California and invalidated Section 3 of DOMA that defines marriage between a man and a woman. Now same sex couples in California can marry again and the Federal government will recognized same-sex marriages in states that permit it.

Who knew dogs could surf! The 2013 Loews Surf Dog Competition got off to a roaring start on Saturday June 22, 2013. The waves were rougher than usual, but our fine four legged-friends didn’t let that deter them from riding the waves.

Sunday was a day of family, friends and remembrance. We gathered to celebrate family and remember our dear Ray Baksh. We will all miss him for he was truly a light that shone bright in the hearts of so many.
